As of June 16, 2020 (6PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region is eighty-five (85).
On test results received
A total of one hundred twenty (120) test results were received today. Eighty-eight (88) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while thirty-two (32) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Of the 120 results received, one (1) is equivocal from BRDRL, and one (1) is positive from BMC as reported earlier.

Bicol Region records 85th case of COVID-19

The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol reports one (1) new confirmed case of COVID-19. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region is now eighty-five (85). Current confirmed cases are ten (10).
The 85th confirmed case of COVID-19 is a 31-year old Filipino male from Lupi, Camarines Sur. He arrived in Bicol from Cebu on June 15, 2020. Patient is asymptomatic and consulted on the same day he arrived at Camarines Sur Provincial Medical Center. His sample was tested at the COVID-19 laboratory in Bicol Medical Center (BMC). Bicol#85 is currently on quarantine.
Appeal to Public
The public is strongly advised to strictly follow community quarantine procedures as well as precautionary measures including proper hand washing, social distancing, cough etiquette, disinfection of commonly used objects, use of facemask, healthy lifestyle and to stay at home. Everyone’s cooperation is crucial in this time of crisis.
