As of June 9, 2020 (8PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region is eighty (80). Three (3) new confirmed cases have been reported earlier. Current confirmed cases are nine (9).
On test results received
A total of one hundred fifty-nine (159) test results were received today. One hundred twenty six (126) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while thirty-three (33) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Breakdown of negative results:
Albay PESU - 40, BMC - 5, BRTTH - 49, Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital (CNPH) - 12, Legazpi CHO - 34, PHO Camarines Sur - 14, and Naga City - 2.

COVID-19 cases recorded in Bicol now at 80

The Department of Health Center for Health Development - Bicol records three new (3) confirmed cases of COVID-19 – all from the third (3rd) district of Albay. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region is now eighty (80).
The 78th confirmed case of COVID-19 is a 30-year old Filipino female from Oas, Albay. She is a nurse and had a duty at a quarantine facility. Bicol#78 is asymptomatic. Her status is for validation.
Bicol#79 is a 26-year old Filipino female from Guinobatan, Albay. She arrived from Laguna on June 5, 2020. Patient is asymptomatic and is currently quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.
A 46-year old Filipino male from Guinobatan, Albay is the 80th confirmed case of COVID-19. His history of travel/exposure is for validation. Patient is asymptomatic and is currently quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.
Appeal to Public
The public is strongly advised to strictly follow community quarantine procedures as well as precautionary measures including proper hand washing, social distancing, cough etiquette, disinfection of commonly used objects, use of facemask, healthy lifestyle and to stay at home. Everyone’s cooperation is crucial in this time of crisis.
