As of June 8, 2020 (6PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region remain at seventy-seven (77).
No test results were received today. Sunday is decontamination day for BRDRL hence samples were just collected today. Monday is decontamination day for BMC.
On recoveries
On results received yesterday, patients with local code Bicol#71, and Bicol#72, both from Camarines Norte, tested negative for COVID-19. Said patients are subject to 14-day quarantine.
On Suspects and Probable
Bicol Region has six (6) suspects - five (5) from Albay and one (1) from another region but is currently in Bicol.
DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and directives must be complied with. Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
