As of June 5, 2020 (6PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region is seventy-seven (77). Two (2) new cases have been reported earlier, both from Albay.
On results received today
A total of one hundred fifty-one (151) test results were received as of 6PM today. One hundred twenty-nine (129) test results are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while twenty-two (22) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Breakdown of 149 negative results today for COVID-19:
Albay - 42, BRTTH - 37, BMC - 5, Camarines Sur – 15, Legazpi – 47, Naga – 2, and Sorsogon – 1.

DOH Bicol reports 2 new cases of COVID-19

The Department of Health Center for Health Development - Bicol records two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 after three (3) consecutive days of no new recorded COVID positive. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region is now seventy-seven (77).
The 76th confirmed case of COVID-19 is a 46-year old Filipino male from Legazpi City, Albay. He arrived in Legazpi City from Batangas on June 2, 2020, and was immediately quarantined at Legazpi Quarantine Facility. Bicol#76 is asymptomatic.
A 27-year old Filipino male from Bacacay, Albay is the 77th confirmed case of COVID-19. He has a history of travel from Antipolo, Rizal and arrived on June 2, 2020. Patient is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.
Appeal to Public
The public is strongly advised to strictly follow community quarantine procedures as well as precautionary measures including proper hand washing, social distancing, cough etiquette, disinfection of commonly used objects, use of facemask, healthy lifestyle and to stay at home. Everyone’s cooperation is crucial in this time of crisis.
