One new case recorded in Bicol, COVID-19 Cases now at 75

The Department of Health Center for Health Development – Bicol reports one (1) new confirmed case of COVID-19. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region is now seventy-five (75).
The 75th confirmed case of COVID-19 is a 23-year old Filipino male from Tigaon, Camarines Sur. He is a close contact of patient with local code Bicol#67. Patient is asymptomatic. He was seen and tested at Bicol Medical Center via Xpert Xpress SARS-CoV-2 test. Bicol#75 is a Radiologic Technologist.
Appeal to Public
The public is strongly advised to strictly follow community quarantine procedures as well as precautionary measures including proper hand washing, social distancing, cough etiquette, disinfection of commonly used objects, use of face mask, healthy lifestyle and to stay at home. Everyone’s cooperation is crucial in this time of crisis.
