As of June 3, 2020 (7PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bicol remain at seventy-five (75). All test results released as of 6 PM today yielded negative for COVID-19.
On results released today
DOH Bicol reports a total of one hundred fifty-six (156) test results as of 7PM today. One hundred twenty-one (121) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while thirty-five (35) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Breakdown of negative results:
Albay – 27, BMC – 5, BRGHGMC -1, BRTTH – 52, Camarines Sur Provincial Medical Center (CSPMC) – 12, Legazpi – 31, PHO Camarines Norte – 8, Camarines Sur – 9, and Sorsogon - 9.
For equivocal: PESU Sorsogon – 1, BRTTH – 1.
Contact tracing is the process of identifying, assessing and managing people who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. It is critical to #BreakTheChain of transmission and prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
Cooperate with your local authorities if they get in touch with you regarding contact tracing activities. Be prepared to be quarantined and to monitor your health for onset of symptoms for 14 days.
