Additional 3 new cases recorded in Bicol Region

The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol records additional three (3) new confirmed cases of COVID-19. This is apart from the two (2) cases recorded earlier. The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Bicol Region is now two hundred seventy-eight (278). Active cases are one hundred fifty-one (151).
All three (3) new cases are from Camarines Sur. The municipalities of Bula and Sagñay records its first case.
• Bicol#276 – a 58-year old Filipino female from Sipocot, Camarines Sur. Her date of arrival from Laguna is for verification. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.
• Bicol#277 – a 25-year old Filipino male from Bula, Camarines Sur. His date of arrival from Tondo, Manila is for verification. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.

Bicol Region records 2 new cases of COVID-19

The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol records two (2) new confirmed cases of COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Bicol Region is now two hundred seventy-five (275). Active cases are one hundred forty-eight (148).
The municipality of Mercedes in Camarines Norte records its first case while additional one (1) for Legazpi City.
• Bicol#274 – a 55-year old Filipino male from Mercedes, Camarines Norte. He arrived from Angono, Rizal on July 12, 2020. He first experienced symptoms on July 15, 2020. He is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.
• Bicol#275 – a 22-year old Filipino female from Legazpi City, Albay. She is a close contact of Bicol#209. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.
Releasing of other details about the said patients is at the discretion of the Local Government Units (LGUs) concerned guided by the provisions of the Data Privacy Act.

On recoveries
Seven (7) recoveries have been recorded today.
Number of recoveries in Bicol is now at one hundred nineteen (119). Active cases are one hundred forty-six (146).

Bicol#97 - 25-year old male from Aroroy, Masbate.
Bicol#137 - 62-year old male from Naga City, Camarines Sur.

Bicol#139 - 34-year old female from Canaman, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#140 - 12-year old female from Canaman, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#141 - 10-year old male from Canaman, Camarines Sur.
On test results received
A total of two hundred eighty-seven (287) test results were received today. Two hundred forty-five (245) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while forty-two (42) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).

Bicol records 15 new cases of COVID-19

The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol records fifteen (15) new confirmed cases of COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Bicol Region is now two hundred seventy-three (273). Active cases are one hundred fifty-three (153).
Of the 15 new cases, nine (9) are from Masbate, three (3) from Albay, and three (3) from Camarines Sur. The municipality of Nabua in Camarines Sur and the City of Masbate records its first case.
• Bicol#259 – a 13-year old Filipino male from Naga City, Camarines Sur. He is from the same street with known COVID-19 cases. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.
• Bicol#260 – a 22-year old Filipino male from Tabaco City, Albay. He arrived from Muntinlupa on July 2, 2020. He had an exposure to Bicol#234. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.
