As of April 9, 2020, the Department of Health Center for Health Development Bicol reports the fifteenth (15th) and sixteenth (16th) confirmed case of COVID-19 and one (1) new recovery in Bicol Region.
The fifteenth (15th) case is a 60 year-old male from Albay. He is currently admitted at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital. Onset of illness was on March 20, 2020. History of travel is still being established.
A 59 year-old female from Camarines Sur is the sixteenth (16th) confirmed case in Bicol Region. She had a history of exposure to a positive COVID-19 case.

DOH Bicol records 3 new recoveries, 1 new case

The Department of Health Center for Health Development – Bicol reports three (3) new recoveries today bringing the total number of recoveries to eight (8). Patients with local codes Bicol#1(PH766), Bicol#10, and Bicol#13 are the new recoveries today after testing negative for COVID-19. All three (3) patients are from Albay and are now discharged. Confirmed cases recorded in Bicol Region, as of April 7, 2020 (5PM) remains at thirteen (13), with five (5) recoveries and one (1) death. DOH CHD - Bicol also recorded twelve (12) new Persons Under Investigation (PUIs) bringing the total number of PUIs to 127, ninety three (93) of which tested negative for COVID-19, while twenty (20) are awaiting results.
