The DOH CHD conducts a quarterly earthquake drill to instill disaster preparedness among its employees.

Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) Bicol Regional Director, Dr. Ernie V. Vera visited Sorsogon last February 20, 2019 to check up on the vaccination status of the province as well as to commend the tireless efforts of the health workers in their help to boost the immunization campaign.

RD Vera calls on the Local Government Units and other agencies to help and support the thrust of DOH to control and prevent the spread of measles.

"These are abnormal times. We enjoin other agencies and partners to help us control and prevent the spread of measles through our agency's mandates by advocating vaccination and to increase herd immunity. We have to unite to fight it,” said RD Vera during the stakeholders meeting held at Dr. Fernando B. Duran Memorial Hospital (DFBDMH), Sorsogon City.

  

DOH CHD Bicol to double the effort in the fight against measles

In order to strengthen the Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) Bicol’s thrust to prevent a measles outbreak in Bicol, OIC Regional Director Dr. Ernie V. Vera paid a visit to personally oversee the actions being taken to control measles at Pio Duran, Albay this February 19, 2019.
